"How
To Get More SALES From A Small Mastermind Group"
by
Marian Sparks
When you have a
mastermind group focused on removing barriers
and problem-solving, you're more likely to achieve your business goal.
So before you sign up for another free teleseminar
or pay
for a training course, evaluate whether your issue is lack of
knowledge/skill or lack of strategic, focused action and support.
Because you're never going to know every thing you need to
know
in advance to succeed. So team up with a small group
of 4 to 5 like-minded business people and get more SALES:
1.
S-->Share your primary business goal with the
group.
Want more clients? Get specific. How many clients do
you want for product or service X? Do you want to
acquire new clients? Or sell more to existing
clients? Decide where to focus for the next 30 days. Then you can
leverage the group to help you clarify which
steps or resources are necessary to achieve your desired outcome.
2.
A-->Ask for assistance on what's holding you
back.
It's your responsibility
to help people help you
better. Get clear on the specific issue
that's causing you to remain stuck. (i.e. why haven't you achieved your
business goal yet?) Then ask the group for feedback.
Identifying
the problem is half the battle. When you finally articulate
what
you need, people can provide more relevant advice
that sparks
you into action. Simply ask.
3.
L-->Listen to the feedback.
Two ears and one mouth.
Use them proportionately.
Take notes on specific comments, ideas and solutions.
You'll want to evaluate these based on your resource needs
and which ones will give you the greatest leverage for your desired
result. Seek clarification where necessary. But
mostly listen.
4.
E-->Execute on commitments.
You're the ultimate
decision-maker. Thank people
for sharing their insights and feedback. Decide what you'll
commit to doing next. Then make it happen. When you
get into
action, you honor the time and emotional investment others have made in
you. You'll want to share the outcome of those actions with
the
group the next time you meet.
5.
S-->Succeed with results.
After a weeks time, evaluate your
results. Did you execute
against your commitments? If you didn't, understand why. If
you
did, are you making progress towards
your
goal? Remember, failures are simply feedback of what didn't work.
Now it's time to incorporate what you
could have done differently into new actions going forward.
And don't forget to celebrate each step along the way.
How can you begin using the more
SALES approach to get the support you need to spark you to
success?
